Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled gardener to join our team and maintain the beauty and health of our gardens. The ideal candidate will have a passion for plants and an eye for detail. The gardener will be responsible for the beauty and functionality of our gardens.
Responsibilities:
- Design and plan gardens that complement the property and meet the needs of our clients.
- Plant, cultivate, and maintain various types of gardens, including flower beds, vegetable gardens, and herb gardens.
- Install and maintain irrigation systems and other garden infrastructure.
- Monitor and control pests and diseases that could harm the plants.
- Operate and maintain garden equipment, including mowers, trimmers, and blowers.
- Prune trees, shrubs, and other plants to ensure they grow in a healthy and aesthetically pleasing manner.
- Ensure that the garden is always clean and tidy.
- Provide recommendations to clients regarding plant selection and garden care.
- Follow safety protocols to protect themselves and others on the job.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a gardener or landscaper.
- Solid knowledge of plants, trees, and shrubs.
- Familiarity with irrigation systems and garden equipment.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Physical stamina and strength to operate garden equipment and perform manual labor.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
