Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Technical Support Officer to join our team. As a Technical Support Officer, you will be responsible for providing assistance to users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, installing and configuring computer systems, and delivering training to end-users. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, hardware, and software applications, ensuring optimal performance and compatibility.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity problems, diagnosing and resolving issues related to routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless networks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement solutions for complex technical problems.
• Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate users on the proper use of hardware, software, and network resources.
• Perform hardware and software upgrades, installations, and migrations as required.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in networking, hardware, and software support.
• Collaborate with vendors and service providers to resolve technical issues and escalate problems as necessary.
• Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for end-users.

Requirements:

• Proven work experience in technical support or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze and troubleshoot technical problems effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical users.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in delivering technical training or workshops is highly desirable.
• Strong commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
